SESSIONS STARTING IN JUNE
CAGI will be conducting a NEW money management training program called "Count
Your Cash" for youth between 12 and 17 years of age residing in eligible households
(those whose household income is equal to or less than 150% of the federal poverty
guidelines).

CAGI Programs/Services
CAGI is starting its Economic Development Program for underutilized and disadvantaged
businesses at the end of May, 2010. Potential participants will be requested
to attend an overview/orientation session which provides information about what
the program offers and how to make application for its services.
Funded with ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) dollars, this program
is designed to assist small businesses which meet the appropriate size requirements
with such important areas as marketing, accounting, planning, and other concerns
which promote business success and growth.
ENERGY ASSISTANCE SUMMER COOL PROGRAM BEGINS JUNE 1
The Summer Cool segment of CAGI's Energy Assistance Program begins June 1.
Eligible clients will receive a $50 credit on their electric bill.
Clients who can demonstrate a medical necessity with a signed statement from their physician
can obtain a voucher for a window air conditioner.
The eligibility requirements are the same as for the Winter Heating segment of the
Program; those who
received heating assistance also are eligible for cooling assistance.
Office hours of the Summer Cool program are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
